Take a peek at my personal garden. I've designed it in both the cottage garden and naturalistic planting styles using a majority of plants native to South Dakota and the Upper Midwest, as well as a variety of compatible non-natives. From an almost blank slate, I've added hundreds of flowers, shrubs, ornamental trees, and other features over the past several years. A garden is never finished, and this one is very much an evolving creation and a learning lab.
